Years ago, Linda Raymond stole over a million dollars of books she did not own and sold them to a corrupt but connected South Bend City Developer named David Matthews who sold them to bookstores all over the US and Europe. He was a contributor to and confidant of then Mayor Pete Buttigieg who rammed thru the contract for Matthews to build the Commerce Center against the wishes of the City Council.
